Beautiful Keys
One of the first things you notice about MIDIKeyz is it’s beautiful keys. As musicians, we know and realize that being able to see the keys on the keyboard is paramount. We also added the note names above the keys. This adds an extra layer of reinforcement when trying to figure out that lick or that complex chord. You even have the ability to display the sharps and flats how you want. For international musicians, we have can even display the keyboard using the solfège nomenclature. The keys is the ultimate highlight of MIDIKeyz!

Timeline, Tempo, and Key Signature Controls
When an audio, MIDI or LMS file is playing, you have the ability to change the tempo and of each file type. Yes, that means that you can change the tempo and/or key of an audio file as well. This is the most amazing feature of MIDIKeyz. Not only do you get an amazing MIDI file player and viewer, but you have an audio transcribing software that will allow you to slow down audio, MIDI, and LMS files. Most software packages only achieve one or the other, but MIDIKeyz is designed to be the ultimate learning tool for teachers and students with no limitations.
Channel Control, Sound, and Split Key
When playing or viewing multi-channel MIDI files, it would be a good idea to be able to view your choice of channel on the keyboard. The Piano Channel is the channel that displays the channel of choice on the keyboard. After choosing which channel or instrument you want to see on the MIDI Keyboard, you can also change the sound as well.
The Split Key feature allows you you split the keyboard colors. As keyboard players ourselves, we know how important it is to decipher between what is played in the right and left hands. The Split Key feature gives you a “relative” idea of what each hand is playing by allowing different colors of the keyboard to light up per your choosing. For teachers this is even more important, as you can use it as a guide when teaching your students.
LMS Files - Live-MIDI-Sync
LMS Files were first introduced by Gospel Musicians LLC when we were one of the first companies to show a MIDI keyboard with our instructional videos. Now, through MIDIKeyz, we have a way to for teachers and students to view instructional lessons with audio and MIDI being displayed on the MIDIKeyz keyboard display. Much like Apple’s GarageBand artist lessons, now teachers can provide audio instruction and MIDI display all in one file. In addition, you can slow down the audio and MIDI of an LMS file in sync with each other. If the instructor is just going too fast, then you can change the tempo and slow down the entire LMS file, audio and MIDI included. Perhaps you want to learn the lesson in a different key. This is no problem for MIDIKeyz. Both tempo and key can be changed with audio, MIDI and with our new LMS file.
We know that as hungry musicians, you are extremely greedy. You don’t want to miss not one chord, lick, riff, or trick. So we added transport controls that can be controlled with your keyboard. Just hit the space bar and rewind the action, so that you can “rip” all of your favorite song’s chords.
